U17’s in league title decider this Saturday | Academy Fixtures
This Saturday, our U17’s have the chance to win their division in what is a huge game for Longford Town FC.
Anthony Elding’s young guns take on Limerick FC at 1PM at Bishopsgate.
De Town are joint top of the table with Klub Kildare, with the short-grass county only head with a goal difference of +1. They make the long trip to Cobh for a simultaneous kick-off.
Cobh are in third place on 29 points, just 1 point behind ourselves and Kildare. De Town have only lost 1 game all season while Kildare have lost 3.
Should Cobh defeat Kildare and De Town manage to pick up a win at home to Limerick, our U17’s will be crowned champions. But if Kildare win, De Town need to score more goals to win the league on goal difference.
This is a huge occasion for our young academy players and the squad and staff.
