Longford Town FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Gavin Peers as first-team coach.
The veteran League of Ireland defender joins Stephen Henderson’s backroom team and will bring a wealth of playing experience having spent time at Blackburn Rovers, Mansfield Town, Sligo Rovers, Saint Patricks Athletic, Derry City & Glentoran FC.
With 441 Club appearances overall, 1 League of Ireland Premier Division title, 3 FAI Cups, 1 Irish Cup, 2 EA Sports Cups and 1 Setanta Cup, Gavin knows what it takes to win and will be looking to help Hendo compile a competitive squad in the year ahead.
Speaking to LTFC.ie on joining De Town, Gavin said:
