Longford Town FC is delighted to announce that Shane Elworthy has re-signed for the 2022 SSE Airtricity League First Division.
Shane, heading into his fifth season at De Town, is just three appearances away from the century mark. The speedy right-footer has nailed down the right full-back position since joining Longford in 2017.
Speaking to LTFC.ie this evening, the Dubliner expressed his delight in coming on-board for another season in the Red & Black;
I’m delighted to have signed back for Longford. I’m going into my fifth season with the club now. I’m very positive about the season ahead having spoken to Gary and can’t wait to get going again.
