Longford Town FC is delighted to announce the signing of Eric Molloy for the 2022 SSE Airtricity League First Division.
The 29 year old winger who can also play in the middle started his senior career with Arklow Town. After that, he played for Wexford, winning the first division with them in 2015, Southern United, and Team Wellington in New Zealand. In 2019, he signed for Stomil Olsztyn in the Polish I liga. He returned home and signed for Waterford in 2021 before making the move to Shelbourne.
Speaking to LTFC.ie this morning after agreeing terms with De Town, the Carlow man revealed he’s raring to go for the new season;
I’m happy to have finally got things over the line with Longford Town. Gary, James and Ian have been great since I’ve arrived and are getting us all focused for the 2022 season. We have been working hard in pre-season and I’m really excited to get out on the pitch now with the lads and give the fans something great to cheer about this year. C’mon De Town!
