After 7 years, 182 appearances, 6 goals, 25 assists and countless great moments, Shane Elworthy has decided to depart the club.
He leaves the Red and Black a Town legend and captained the club in his final year in 2024.
“After 7 years with Longford Town, I feel it is time to move on. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Longford and have had the pleasure of playing alongside some great players more importantly great people. I want to thank everyone involved at the club and wish Wayne and the squad the very best of luck this season…”
