We are delighted to confirm our next two Man United stars who will be playing in the Longford Town Legends v Manchester United Legends game on June 15th at Bishopsgate.
𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗷𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮-𝗗𝗷𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗮 joined United in 2003 and a highlight during his United career was when he scored a looping volley against Leeds United in the League Cup. With the score at 2–2 and three minutes of extra time left, Quinton Fortune swung in a corner which reached Djemba-Djemba, who hit it first time and it looped over Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson which secured a 3–2 win and progression to the next round.
𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗲 made his first appearance for United against Newcastle United on 30 August 1999. His first goal followed on 26th December 1999 against Bradford City, and he scored twice against South Melbourne in the 2000 FIFA Club World Championship. He went on to make over 100+ appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 5 times.
