Greetings Town Fans! For those that donโ€™t know me, my name is Kevin Carberry and Iโ€™m the Supporters Liaison Officer (SLO) here at Longford Town.

Iโ€™ve been a huge Town fan since my very first game in the late 90โ€™s with my Dad. Since then Iโ€™ve travelled the country (and abroad) as a fan supporting the red and black before getting involved with the Supporters Club as Chairman and then the club committee 6 years ago.

Following on from its success across European football, the role of the SLO has been relaunched by the FAI recently. Last year I completed UEFA academy training over two weekends in Dublin. There, representatives from the other league clubs came together to share ideas, experiences and contact information which will benefit all fans going forward.

The main role of the SLO is to act as a bridge between the club and our supporters, providing a two-way flow of information on key issues. Other areas I hope to cover include gathering feedback and suggestions from fans in the areas that matter to fans most. I will also continue to work with the Supporters Club as an important part of our Football Club.

Any supporter wanting to get in touch will see me around the clubhouse on match nights so call in for a chat and a cuppa. Alternatively, drop me a mail at [email protected] Get in touch and get involved!
