Longford Town FC is delighted to announce the signing of Charles Mutawe to the club.
The 22 year old midfielder joins De Town after recently having a spell with our neighbours Athlone.
Charles previously played for St. Patrickโs Athletic at underage level before joining Shelbourne. While playing for Shel’s U19 side, Charles was also in the first team squad in a number of friendlies and cup games.
Then he moved to Drogheda United where he spent two seasons before moving to Athlone in 2022 where he made 20 appearances in total.
