Longford Town FC is delighted to announce the loan signing of Dean McMenamy from Shamrock Rovers.
The tenacious 19 year old joins De Town on a season-long loan deal and will be looking to add to Gary Cronin’s already bolstered midfield.
Dean made his first-team debut for Shamrock Rovers last season away to Derry City in July and made a good few appearances for the 2021 Premier Division champions.
Speaking to LTFC.ie following his signing for the Red and Black, the young man revealed his delight in joining De Town;
I’m delighted to sign for this club and I can’t wait to get going with the boys. After speaking to Gary about what he wants this season, I believe we will be successful.
