He’s back! – Sam Verdon signs for 2022
We are pleased to announce that Sam Verdon has signed for the club for 2022 season.
Sam is a fan-favourite from his two previous stints over 4 years at the club where he was ever-present, scoring numerous goals in the red and black and playing an important part in the promotion-winning squad of 2020.
The Dubliner joined Bray Wanderers last summer where he linked up with Gary Cronin who didn’t hesitate in bringing the physical forward back ti Bishopsgate.
Speaking on signing back for De Town, Sam shared his delight in getting the deal done.
I’m delighted to be back at the club. It’s a club I have a great affection for. The opportunity to come back and play for Gary and his staff was just too good to turn down. Hopefully we can achieve what we did at the club in 2020.
