A huge thanks to Longford Town's U19 manager, Wayne Groves, who has stepped down from his duties. He had a magnificent season, leading our U19s to the Shield semi-final, where they were extremely unlucky to lose to Bohemians on penalties.
It's with deep regret that I'll be stepping away from the Longford town U19s. My time there has been amazing, the people have been so kind to me since I've come into the job, in particular Paul Bayliss who has helped me so much. I've grown as a coach/manager because of Longford. The players have been fantastic and I hope more than anything that I've improved them.
We'd like to echo those thoughts and we wish Wayne all the best in his future endeavours.
