Back in 2002, Shane Gill was a member of the St Mel's College choir (aka Pascal's Rascals) which recorded a song for the Republic of Ireland World Cup campaign. Despite continuous airplay on the nation's air waves, the CD failed to break into the international market.
However, Shane is now singing on the international circuit and can be heard around Paris today as the popular Secretary of the LTFC Supporters' Club continues to sing his 2002 song "Stand Up If Iou're Ireland". However the main vocalist with the choir Pascal Flaherty was unable to make Paris this evening.
Best of luck Shane and all De Town supporters in De France this evening.
Shane is 3rd from the left in the 2nd row and hasn't changed a bit since 2002.....
