A huge thank you to all who supported our draw which is now very much part of the Longford Christmas scene. Fair play to Raymond Grehan who sold enough tickets to buy in some star new player !

It's great to report that the Club Shop was an outstanding success with all sorts of merchandise selling well. Again a massive thanks to all who volunteered their valuable time to achieve this. Derek and Sheila Fitzgerald went way beyond the call of duty in sourcing and sorting out the shop and we'll be forever grateful for that.

Fáilte abhaile to all our supporters who have had to leave the area in their search for employment. Despite a sore throat, it was great to see our web master Padraig Stapleton, back from London and finally getting his hands on the Cup.

Congratulations to Fr Tom Healy and all associated with the magnificent restoration and reopening of the Cathedral. For loyal Town supporter and Cathedral sacristan, Gerry Reilly it has been some year of celebrations, well deserved.

A very happy Christmas to all our supporters, we're 90 and promoted, celebrate and enjoy. See you next year.
