Longford Town FC are delighted to announce they have entered into a new sponsorship agreement with Legea for the supply of their football playing kit for the 2016 season.
Longford Town FC had originally entered into an agreement with Macron Ireland to supply their kit requirements for the 2016 and 2017 Seasons and had launched their new home jersey for the 2016 season in December 2015 but unfortunately, through no fault of Longford Town, it has became evident that Macron Ireland were not in a position to deliver on this new agreement.
The club recognise that a number of their supporters have purchased new home replica jerseys from the Longford Town FC shop before Christmas and the club are prepared to offer to exchange the Macron 2016 season replica home jersey for a new Legea 2016 season replica home jersey for any supporters who would wish to exchange theirs. The new Legea jerseys will be available for exchange at the clubs shop in City Calling Stadium at the first home league match against St. Patrick's Athletic on the 12th March 2016.
While Longford Town FC regret the inconvenience that this may have caused to their supporters, unfortunately this situation was totally outside the clubs control and the club are sure that their supporters will fully understand this.
