JOYLESS IN TALLAGHT

It might be a handy drive to Tallaght Stadium along the M4 and M50 but there was nothing handy after that. Beaten 2-1 by a very young Shamrock Rovers B team was just what the doctor didn't order. With Sully scoring an equaliser, a share of the points was bad enough until total disaster struck in added time with a red card followed closely by a Purdy strike to send us home feeling both mad and sad. There's certainly been some change of fortune since our explosive opening to last season. Her's hoping that things brighten up around Easter time.

CAR BOOT SALE

Don't forget the Car Boot Sale on Easter Monday April 21st at the City Calling Stadium, 10am-3pm. The weather forecast is good and a huge crowd of buyers and sellers are anticipated. With the late Easter this year, our third Car Boot Sale will be coming along quickly, with the May bank holiday Car Boot Sale on Monday May 5th.

HARPS AT HOME

This Saturday night at 7.30 sees the arrival of Finn Harps to the City Calling Stadium who are currently high flying, high scoring and higher than us on the table. All last season when we were flying high, Finn Harps always managed to clip our wings. Hopefully this time, we can reverse the roles. It's going to be a real tough, dogged encounter and it's at times like this that we really need a massive support. We could do with you out there.

THANKS

A huge thank you to the small band of collectors who stood outside various churches last week end for the Church gate collection. A huge and sincere thank you to all who supported us , your contribution is greatly appreciated.

JOIN US

There will be envelopes available in the Clubhouse this Saturday night to facilitate your joining of the Supporters' Club. It's only ten euro for the entire season but you will be helping us keep the show on the road.

WELL DONE

Well done to Johnny Nevin on his participation in the Ross Carr Memorial cycle last Sunday. Johnny despite his age and ailments put on his best smile as he slithered into his custom made cycle gear and whizzed round the roads on Co Longford in record time. Well done son.
