DOB: 27/01/92

Craig played with Cherry orchard in 2009 and signed for Shamrock Rovers in January 2010 after finishing third in Sky One’s “Football’s Next Star”. But Craig’s first team opportunities at Rovers were limited to the Leinster Senior Cup and in July ’10 he went on loan to Longford Town.

Craig’s Longford debut came in a 2-2 home draw against Salthill Devon on 7 August 2010 and he went on to make 8 league appearances by the end of the season. At the start of 2011 he signed a permanent deal at Flancare Park and made 24 league appearances as Longford finished sixth in the First Division.

Colm began his career as a schoolboy with Shamrock Rovers before joining Bray Wanderers in 2002. He made his first team debut away to Longford Town in October 2002 and scored his first goal against Athlone Town in August 2003. Colm also represented the Eircom league under 21s in a four nations tournament in Scotland in May 2004.

Colm made 109 league appearances in is time at the Carlisle Ground but was released by Bray Wanderers in September 2006, soon after Eddie Gormley took over as manager. Galway United manager Tony Cousins stepped in and signed the Dublin man on 2 January 2007, as soon as the transfer window opened. Colm made 16 league appearances for Galway that season  but moved to Longford Town in midseason playing 13 games and was unfortunately cuptied for the cup final that year.

Colm signed for Sporting Fingal in 2008 and was ever present in the club’s debut season in the league, making 36 league and Cup appearances. In 2009 he helped the cub to promotion from the First Division and scored a penalty in the club’s 2-1 victory over Sligo Rovers in the 2009 FAI Cup final. However, in 2010 Colm found himself on the fringes of the first team and he made just 11 league appearances.

In February 2011, just weeks before the start of the new season, Sporting Fingal folded and Colm signed for Dermot Keely at Shelbourne in time for the start of the 2011 season. He made 21 league appearances as Shels won promotion to the First Division, but in January 2012 Colm moved on, signing once again for Tony Cousins, this time at Longford Town.

DOB: 31/10/88

Mark began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2007 although he failed to make a first team appearance in his two years at the club. In December 2008 he went on loan to Port Vale where he played in the first team until his return to Wolves in January 2009.

Mark was released by Wolves early in 2009 and returned to Ireland to play for Drogheda United where he made three league appearances before moving on to Athlone Town during the summer transfer window.

He played out the remainder of the 2009 season at Athlone before signing for Tony Cousins at Longford Town prior to the start of the 2010 season.

DOB: 26/02/91

Having previously played with Crumlin United, Jacques Morley signed for Longford Town in January 2011 having appeared in several pre-season games. Jacques made his league bow against Shelbourne on the opening day of the 2011 season and scored his first goal for the club a week later in a 2-0 win away to Wexford Youths.

DOB: 11/01/92

A younger brother of Austin Skelly, Shaun was on trial at Longford Town in the 2011 pre-season but then signed for Mick Cooke at Drogheda United. Sean made just three substitute appearances for the Drogs in 2011 but did play in the EA Sports Cup win over Bray Wanderers, scoring the goal in a 1-0 win. He joined us halfway through last season and made two appearances.

DOB: 08/06/90

James started his career with Cherry Orchard and signed with Birmingham City in 2006. In 2009 he moved on to Bradford City where he played under Stuart McCall and Peter Taylor. He played 25 times for them and scored two goals. In July 2010 James made the choice to return home and sign for Pete Mahon a St Patrick’s Athletic, making eight league appearances that season.

In August 2011 James signed for Tony Cousins at Longford Town.

DOB: 08/09/77

Alan began his LoI career at Waterford United in 1998. He spent three years at the club before moving to Longford Town in 2001 where was apart of the team that won two FAI Cups and a League Cup.

In December 2006, Alan signed for St. Patrick’s Athletic where he spent two seasons before signing for Liam Buckley at Sporting Fingal for the 2009 season. Here he won another FAI Cup medal scoring in the semi final win over Bray Wanderers.

In January 2011 Alan signed up with Sligo Rovers on a one year contract. He has also previously played for Johnville (Waterford) & Aston Villa. Alan lives in Longford.

Alan’s honours to date include a Bronze medal from the U20 World cup in Malaysia with the Irish U20 side, as well as 3 FAI Cup and 1 League Cup winners medals. Alan joined Longford Town for their pre-season build up in 2012. and subsequently joined the club.

DOB: 18/02/75

Keith joined Manchester United on leaving school in 1991. Having developed in the youth team he went on to make his first team debut in 1992/93. In total he made just nine league appearances for the club and moved to Newcastle United in January 1995.

Keith scored eleven league goals for the Magpies in 113 league appearances before moving to Blackburn Rovers in 1998. Five years  followed at Ewood Park and he won a League Cup medal with the club in 2002.

He left Blackburn in 2003 and spent two years at Leicester City before moving to Sheffield United in August 2005. Keith made 97 league appearances in his four years with the Blades and spells at Bradford City, Glentoran and Darlington followed. In March 2011 Keith signed for Tony Cousins at Longford Town.

DOB: 20/11/83

Jamie began his career at Shamrock Rovers in 2006. He made 43 appearances for the Hoops before moving to Longford Town in the summer transfer window of 2007.

At the end of ’07 he signed for Dundalk and made 38 appearances, scoring eight goals, over the 2008 season. Despite helping the club to the First Division title Jamie was released after just one year at Dundalk and he was snapped up by Alan Mathews at Drogheda United in February 2009.

In 2012 Jamie played with Longford Town during their pre-season friendlies and subsequently joined us after taking a break for a year from the game to focus on his music interests. He played in Northern Ireland with Newry City.

DOB: 05/07/95

Dean has only been playin with the under 19s for only one season before being promoted to the senior squad. He previously played with St Kevins Boys and also played for Gaels Utd Underage sides in Drumlish. He made the Longford squad for the Kennedy Cup a few years ago and is a Dublin native.
