Longford Town record goalscorer David O’Sullivan confirms departure from De Town

Wed Nov 29th 2017

Longford Town goalscoring hero, David O’Sullivan has confirmed his departure from the club on Twitter. A legend and record breaker for the club with 82 goals, he will be hugely missed by everyone at the club and amongst the fans. Thanks Davy for the goals, the memories and the record-breaking!

Since signing from Wayside Celtic back in 2013, he has been top goalscorer for the club in each of those seasons, including a record haul in a season for a Town player in 2014, with 24 goals in the First Division championship winning season. His goalscoring feats will stand the test of time and we wish him the very best of luck.
