Cronin remains as Assistant Manager

Tony Cousins has moved to clarify his backroom team for the coming season in light of the appointment of Graham Lawlor.

Gary Cronin will continue in the position of Assistant to Cousins with Lawlor's position being that of First team Coach.

"We just want to clarify things as far as Gary's position is concerned. He's been a tremendous help to me last season and will be again this season".

On the transfer front the Town boss said that he has a number of irons in the fire at the moment and hopes to be in a position to announce some more signings in the coming weeks. Speaking to ltfc.ie Cousins shared "we're looking to bring in some experience to help the younger lads development and be leaders in the dressing room, and we're hoping that we will have some news on that front by the end of the week".
