Longford Town will face Cork City for the second time in six days when De Town travel to Turner’s Cross on Friday night to face Cork City in the SSE Airtricity League clash.
This will be Alan Mathews' first game in charge in his second stint as Longford Town’s manager and he faces a tough debut against another former club he managed.
Longford Town will be without the services of Noel Haverty and David O’Sullivan who are both out injured while Ryan Coulter will return from suspension.
The match kicks off at 7.45pm on Friday 26th August and will be televised live on RTE2.
