All of us at Longford Town FC, would like to wish Gary Cronin, the very best of luck in the future. He played 97 times for De Town across two playing spells, before becoming Assistant Manager to Tony Cousins, stepped in as caretaker manager and then assistant manager to Neale Fenn. Best of luck to Gary in his future endeavours!
“After 8 consecutive seasons with Longford Town today is the day I’m announcing my departure with the club.
I can’t thank everybody involved with LTFC enough. The supporters have been brilliant towards me as have the board. I’d also like to appreciate the players I have worked with over the seasons who always gave me the respect I needed as a coach. I’m most grateful to the chairman, Jim Hanley, who has along with other committee members supported and assisted me in becoming the coach I am today. To everybody who has supported me along the way I thank you, you know who you are. I wish the club every success for the future."
