Belgium beat Greece 3-0 this evening in the City Calling Stadium but both sets of players won the hearts of the young supporters. After a tough game, both squads were more than generous with their time, posing for photos, selfies and signing autographs.
Jéremy Doku and Marco Kana (both Anderlecht) were particularly popular with Jéremy hoping to play for De Town some day!

Once again there was a marvellous atmosphere on a warm summer's evening and the crowd certainly enjoyed the exceptional talent on display on our award winning pitch.
Longford Town FC is certainly flying the local flag high and with considerable pride.
Our award winning pitch and facilities had received considerable international praise and many couldn't believe that some of the volunteer stewards started their day at 4am for the Car Boot Sale.
It's being a real pleasure hosting so many international visitors to the City Calling Stadium. We still have 2 more international games this week as well as a vital game against Cabinteely on Saturday night.

Aisling Conway did an another fabulous job in organising a small army of ball boys and girls, mascots and flag bearers. It was certainly occasion the youngsters will remember for many a long day.
